I would say a resounding no. How could you even consider it?...it helps you in 0 ways.
Hughes has been pretty bad so far. He's not walking anyone again but he's giving up a ton of hits. If you look at his career, he alternates good & bad years for the last 5 years. Last year was a good year. Maybe he'll regress back to last year somewhat, but I'd still rather have Smyly & Melancon.
And where would you put Cain?..you already have 4 OFs and Rusney.
If you're going to give away a decent SP and a closer, it should be for an upgrade at 2B.
