The Rank Railheads (RCL 40)  gained back 3 of the 4 points they lost last week, but panthers_freak (We’ve Got the Runs — Baseball Reasons) added 2 points as well to hold on to the lead in the overall standings, 114-113. The Fugs (Epic Beardmen Division) moved up 6 spots into third with 108 points, while Higgins (Gobias Industries — Cust Kayin’) jumped 12 positions and is now tied with Bombo Rivera (Prague Defenestrators — Conshellation Prize) in 4th place with 107. captainpyper (RCL 3) is next at 105, followed by Pig Charmer (Grunge Ball — RCL 16) and MattTruss223 (Rube Waddell’s Shiny Objects — Magnificent Mustachioed Men) another 2 back. Six more teams are battling for spots in the top 10, tied with 102 points.

The ECFBL increased their competitive index to 105, three points better than their closest rival, Baseball Reasons.

With 6-and-a-half weeks to go in the season, most leagues are still up for grabs. 34 of the 48 Razzball Comenter Leagues have at least 1 team within 10 points of the leader. RCL 21 has 2 teams tied for the lead with 89.5 points (Montgomery Biscuits and Man Lotion), with Castro Libre (85) and Team Martin (83) in striking distance. RAZZBALL ROTO LEAGUE has a 6-way battle for the title, with A Hill O’ Beans (Snap, Crackle, Papi – 84.5) leading Choo and a Half Men by 2 and my Concussed Canadians by 3.5. sparkasse bio-cornflakes (79),
Feverish Beavers (77.5), and Hello Friends (76) are also still in the running. Sphinctory Staff Inflection has 4 teams snapping at the heels of Blue Heaven in another tight battle. And, of course, 10 points is an arbitrary value, as it is possible to come from further back to win your league championship.

On the other side of the diamond, it’s all over but the shouting in RCL 40, where Michael and Charley’s Railheads have a 39.5-point lead. In Go Big or Go Home, the Bay City Rollers are just about home and cooled with a 23.5-point cushion.

Expert League: Ryan Carey (Mastersball Carey) regained top spot as last week’s leader, Dalton Del Don (RotoWire Del Don), tumbled to third. Tim Dierkes (P.F. Flyer) added 3 to his total and now sits in second place with 88 points, 3 back of Ryan. The Mastersball team was led by middle infielders, with Danny Espinosa, Starlin Castro, and Ben Zobrist having great weeks. The team will have to make up for the loss of Melky Cabrera, who hit .347 with 81 runs scored. Ryan claims he had no idea Melky was cheating. Rudy gained 4 points and is now just 8-and-a-half behind the leader. After 6 weeks of less than stellar stats (compared to his first half, anyways), Rudy’s pitching numbers improved, finishing the week at 5 wins, 6 saves, an ERA of 2.60, and 1.04 WHIP. Grey fell back to 7th, losing the 3 points he had gained last week. His team followed up last week’s 15 home runs with 14 this week, but somehow managed only 26 RBI.
