too much pitching?

Postby steamer33 » Thu May 07, 2009 5:12 am

Alright, so I'm in a new 10 team, H2H, 5 x 5 league & this is my team:

C - M. Napoli
1B - D. Lee
2B - C. Utley
3B - G. Atkins
SS - R. Furcal
MI - A. Hill
CI - A. Huff
OF - R. Braun
OF - M. Ramirez
OF - M. Holliday
OF - V. Wells
OF - D. Fowler
UTIL - E. Dukes
BENCH - H. Blalock
SP - D. Haren, C. Billingsley, E. Bedard, Dice-K, E. Volquez, R. Dempster, Cueto, J. Zimmermann
RP - J. Broxton, F. Francisco, L. Hawkins
DL - C. Carpenter

So I feel like I'm a little too deep in SP. I traded A. Lind for Bills when Dice-K & Carp went down thinking I was screwed, but then Cueto & Volquez turned it on & Zimm showed up. Should I be looking to deal a starter for another bat? If so who should I target. I'm getting killed in steals every week & I'm pretty much punting them right now.

These players are available on WW: JJ Hardy, Tejada, Burrell, Crisp, Bradley, B. Myers. Should I be dropping anyone on my roster to help me out?

I appreciate any advice

How about trading a second tier pitcher (like Dice-K) for someone Ellsbury or Roberts?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

your team looks pretty solid to me. another bat couldn't hurt, but you never know when one of your pitchers will go kaput. i would sit tight for now and make a trade later in the year if need be.
