Couple of things, I was looking to draft Dickerson or Marte with my first pick. Both gone. Wanted to fill my final outfield spot with one of them. But since both of them were gone I went with best available (Prince). The next best outfielders on my rankings were Heyward and Holliday. I thought let me grab Prince and hopefully Heyweard or Holliday will fall. They were both gone so I ended up grabbing Gordon later.
The only other mistake I made is I went with Pedroia later in the draft rather than Wong...even though I was targeting Wong at some point.
I'm moving Buxton and Russell to my NA spots which will then open up a few roster spots and I'm gonna pluck two closers/SP from free agency.
Thoughts? Initially I'm worried about a lack of speed.
