12 team 7x7 extra categories are ops/obp k/9 and k/bb

1B 2B 3B SS C OFx3 Util 5xSP 2xRP with 1500 IP limit

11 Evan Longoria, TB 3B - really wanted Miggy or Kemp, but I guess that
14 Ian Kinsler, Tex 2B - knew he wouldn't be around at 35, and I am a Rangers homer..
35 Joey Votto, Cin 1B
38 Jon Lester, Bos SP - Maybe a bit too early, but I believe
59 Jose Reyes, NYM SS - cant pass up that value
62 Nelson Cruz, Tex OF
83 Josh Hamilton, Tex OF - another injury question.. but could pay off
86 Cole Hamels, Phi SP
107 Clayton Kershaw, LAD SP
110 Jay Bruce, Cin OF - panic pick, like the potential though
131 Chad Billingsley, LAD SP
134 Chris Davis, Tex 1B
155 Ian Stewart, Col 2B - Kinsler Injury insurance, or possible utility if someone doesnt work out
158 Rafael Soriano, TB RP
179 Julio Borbon, Tex OF -speed backup in case reyes has too many injury problems
182 Carlos Marmol, ChC RP
203 Russell Martin, LAD C
206 Kevin Slowey, Min SP
227 Ervin Santana, LAA SP
230 Neftali Feliz, Tex RP
251 Chris Perez, Cle RP
254 Erik Bedard, Sea SP - DL stash could be worth it.. who knows
275 Matt LaPorta, Cle OF - Liriano, Marcum and Rauch all got sniped just before me so i went with upside.

Shallow-ish league as far as how many hitters we start, but the owners are all very active and do their research. I had to pull the trigger on a couple of people a bit early or they wouldnt be around when it came back to me.
I may have some average problems, and I have two pretty big injury questions.

I know Grey says not to take bench hitters, but I felt it was needed given how strong my pitching already was. Like I said, this league could really use CI and MI maybe another OF. Just feels so shallow without them.

So what do you think? On second look it's not as bad as I thought. Just felt like I was getting my players taken a 2-3 picks before me every time.

Doesn't look like a bad team, you do have a lot of risk on your hitting side though. If Davis, Hamilton, Reyes, Kinsler, Cruz and Bruce fail, you're in trouble. I do like those guys, but they all have degrees of question marks. Your pitching is stronger than your hitting, which isn't a great thing. Maybe you can move a top SP and, say, Bruce or Davis for an upgrade.

thanks for having a look. I really like a lot of the guys, but like you said.. so much risk. I will probably try to move someone risky for a stable contributor.
