You're right my league features little of this:

Yep, none of that in my league. Just dumb talk about trades and players and our lives outside of fantasy baseball.

Ace, you came on a little strong, bro. Entertaining thread, but once I got past the squawking I remembered there was a trade question in there.

I wouldn't do the deal. If you need pitching you can do better than Kershaw for Pujols. I'm intrigued by your league, and wish you luck. But IMO next time just go easy patting yourself on the back for how clever it is. You might tear a rotator cuff.

My league is very challenging. Basically the people in this thread (besides you, me, and Grey) would get dominated. They stick to the Yahoo free leagues. You know, the ones where people draft just for practice and then NEVER change their lineups again. Hahaha. They actaully think they are good when they win those free leagues.

I find your league intriguing, but your arrogance off-putting. If your league is so God damned great and complicated, why are you asking us lowly mutants for advice? Second, why are you asking if you should trade one of the top two offensive talents in baseball when it's clear you are having serious reservations? If this was 2004 and you had Barry Bonds, would you trade him for Manny Ramirez and Dontrelle Willis? No, because Barry Bonds was godlike. Is that an apt trade comparison? I don't know, I use Yahoo free leagues and wash myself with a rag on a stick.

Not feeling the trade. You could do find better pitching for the great Albert. I have him in a keeper league and was offered Carpenter and AGon. Now we don't get all wacky with the salaries but Cust Kayin'

The salaries sounds fun but not the cap part. If you're going to get all sim-like, what's the point of an arbitrary cap? If you're going to play baseball as a business, than play it free market. Have guys buy in for more or less, depending on how much they want to spend on their team. Now you're talking cut-throat capitalism at it's finest!

The more money in the pool the better I always say.
