Trade SP for help with bats

Postby Chilly » Mon Mar 28, 2011 7:07 am

Thought I was going to make my draft, but got caught up and had to let the computer autodraft. It went SP heavy early; Halladay, Kershaw, Liriano, Gallardo, Beckett, T. Hudson, C. Lewis. The only position player that was drafted in the 1st 8 rounds was V-Mart.

This is a 16 team 5x5 roto league, where we keep 3 players. Start C,1B,2B,3B,SS,4 OF, U, 8 Pitchers. Luckily my keepers were good; Votto, Youkilis, and McCutchen.

Here is my team
C- V Mart
1B- Votto
2B- Theriot
3B- Polanco
SS - Pennington
OF - McCutchen
OF - Maggs
OF - coghlan
OF - Byrd
U - Youkilis

Bench - Belt, E Young, Aybar, David Murphy

P - Halladay, Kershaw, Liriano, Gallardo, Beckett, T. Hudson, C. Lewis, A Bailey (My only RP)

I've had 3 trade offers come in since the draft last night

Trade 1 - J. Upton for Kershaw

Trade 2 - Delmon Young and D Bard for Coghlan and Liriano

Trade 3 - Beckham and Desmond for Halladay

Trade 1 seems like a no brainer correct?

Do I also take trade 2 and improve my OF and get a good K/ratio buy that could close?

I'd do the first one.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
