Hughes and Ellsbury for Lee

Postby pkkingster » Wed Jul 14, 2010 10:35 pm

I have Ellsbury on my DL, been waiting for a while for him. I'm also pretty worried about Hughes innings cap and potential bullpen move. Should I make a deal like this for an elite pitcher?

He has Lee, Verlander, and Greinke. I'm really looking to move Hughes and a bench hitter for a better starter, someone who I know will be pitching in september, as I'm sitting pretty in 2nd right now.

*note: my league has K/BB as a category, so Lee is a stud.

1. Hughes and Ellsbury for Lee?
2. Hughes and Upton or Podsednik for Verlander?

Just for the record, Hughes will not be moved to the bullpen. What will happen is the Yankees will skip a start, Hughes will come back and have a shitty game, then he'll have 2-3 stellar games before they skip him again.

Do with that information as you will.
I like sports with balls in them.
