He counter offered w/ Choo & Alfredo Simon for Hamels & Rauch. Does that change your opinion?
I don't think I lose much here closer-wise. I can just plug in Aardsma to a starting spot. And Simon has SP eligiblity, so instead of having a closer on the bench everyday I could have 4 starting everyday.
And when/if Gonzalez gets back I could drop Simon for him.
