I have to decide on my keeper's (up to 4) for my 12-team auction league. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 D/ST and 1 K. Players cost $10 more than they did last season. Total budget is $200. I can keep the following players at the following prices:
QB: Freeman ($10)
QB: Cutler ($19)
RB: F Gore ($58)
RB: F Jackson ($19)
RB: B Wells ($39)
WR: M Williams - TB ($12)
WR: S Rice ($17)
WR: D Bowe ($28)
WR: B Marshall ($45)
I think the only great value I'm getting is Mike Williams for $12. The other reasonable prices are Freeman, Rice, and Bowe. Freeman is at the bottom of the starting QB ranks (i.e. top 12). Bowe is at the bottom of the #1 WR ranks (i.e. top 12). I could go with Freeman, Bowe, and Williams and save my money for 2 high-quality RBs.
What would you do in my situation? Thanks for any help!
Keeper League Help
Re: Keeper League Help
You think you can get Fred Jackson cheaper? I'd keep him at 4 or go with 3 keepers. Rice doesn't seem good at that price. You could just keep bowe and Williams and have the most money for your draft!
Re: Keeper League Help
But definitely keep Bowe? It would essentially prevent me from going after the big-$ WRs. Fitz, Nicks, Wallace, and Calvin will probably all be kept, so maybe it's best to stay out of the bidding war for the rest of them.
I think I'll be able to get Jackson back between $10 and $15.

Re: Keeper League Help
40 dollars on your two wide receivers. 100 on a couple rb. 20-30 on a qb. Plenty left to fill your roster on fliers.
Re: Keeper League Help
I'd definitely hold onto Mike Williams, Freeman, and Bowe. Having 2 WR's already means you won't need to toss big $ at one during the draft. FJax is a judgement call but I'd lean towards keeping him as well. $131 headed into the draft means spending for a top-flight QB ($30), one top RB ($50), one 2nd tier RB ($35), and then some late game fliers.
