Starting Hughes against the Sox

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Starting Hughes against the Sox

Postby Garnold » Fri May 07, 2010 1:31 pm

Anyone else rolling the tumbling dice? Past history suggests I should bench him, and my team needs to avoid a WHIPping post moment.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

I am leaning towards starting him... He's got something to prove and is due for a good game against them... right?

That being said, I could easily change my mind in the next hour and yank him from my lineup. Really a tough one.

I started Hughes against better judgment, and it looks like luck is on my side. Anti-sonovabench!

I started Hughes 'cause he's an ACE. 7 IP, 7 K, 1 BB. Sox suck.
I like sports with balls in them.

I started Hughes because the Red Sox lineup is not nearly as frightening as it once was.

Thanks to a little distraction form the Poker channel I missed my chance to second guess myself and so ended up leaving him in. Excellent. Same deal with CJ Wilson. Combined with the guy I definitely wanted to start in Weaver it ended up being a very productive pitching day yesterday. Yay for merry happenstance.

I think I'm at the point with HUghes now where there are very few matchups I won't play him in. Obviously he's giong to get lit up sooner or later, but my level of trust is pretty high at this point.
