Drop Chris Davis?

Daily 10-team 5x5 (keep 20) dynasty league

C: McCann
1B: Howard
2B: Uggla
3B: Stewart
SS: Drew
OF: Kemp, McCutchen, Heyward
UT: Hunter, Young
Bench: Chris Davis, Quentin, CarGo, Stanton

SP: Lincecum, Felix, Greinke, Johan Santana, Hanson, Wainwright
P: Penny
RP: Soriano, Capps, Hoffman, Bumgarner
DL: Beltran, Gonzalez

Konerko is in the FA pool. Do I drop Chris Davis or Penny... maybe someone else for him? Is it really worth it for me in the long-run since I've got a ton of depth in the OF/Utility spots?

Yeah... its only a 2 year old dynasty league, so I decided to stack my pitching in last year's draft and take a gamble on quite a few young hitters or guys who could contribute in multiple categories. I figure I'll be hitting my stride in about 1-2 more years after Heyward and Stanton have some experience under their belts. Also managed to grab Johan Santana and Carlos Quentin off of waivers after other owners got antsy.

Your hitting's still pretty good as is. I mean you have two first round types in Howard and Kemp in addition to stacked pitching. Good job.

And yeah, I agree with Davis. Smoak isn't getting hits yet, but his discipline has been great out of the gate(more walks than strikeouts so far). Once those hits start falling in, Davis's stock is probably going to be even lower than it is now.

Just as a follow-up, Konerko got picked up shortly after I posted, so I missed out on that... but I was also considering dropping Chris Davis or Brad Penny for Eric Young Jr? Any thoughts on that potential move?

I figure that move also gives me some options in case Uggla gets moved to a non-factor before the trade deadline or I just need more speed for whatever reason.
