6X5 Keeper Question

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

6X5 Keeper Question

Postby Yount's Mustache » Sat Oct 10, 2009 4:42 pm

I'm in a ten team 6X5 (plus OPS) H2H league. I can keep 7 (have to keep one pitcher).

Sandoval, Fielder, Hanley, Zobrist, Hill, Ichiro, Ethier, Manny, Grady

Greinke, Wainwright

Thanks!

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Ichiro v. Manny

Both aging stars. Can I ask what your reasoning for keeping Manny might be? You see the downturn for Ichiro coming and the rebound for Manny? I'm worried he might get more Manuela on me.

I wouldn't go with Manny if it wasn't OPS, but I think he can be much more productive there.

I forgot to include some potentially game changing info. We use a 2B/SS in addition to SS and 2B. Does this change your opinion at all?

Thanks again.

Why, you thinking maybe Zobrist over Manny? Eh, I wouldn't.

I suppose not, I'd rather trade him than keep him, but it's my impression that few will bite given his somewhat out of nowhere year. Anyway, I'm going to try and dangle some packages out there to hopefully help a weaker team.

Dangling your package out there is illegal in some jurisdictions.

Sorry to be nosy - couldn't resist it.
This IS my f**king outlet!

Season was out of nowhere and I think he might be able to do some of it again, but no one really thinks he can so he'd either come back to you on the cheap next year, or you hold him and trade Manny because he has more value.

In an OPS league, I keep Zobrist over Hill. Great walk rate on Zobrist.
