Keepers v2

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Keepers v2

Postby ticktock » Sat Sep 13, 2014 9:14 pm

Hey Grey,

$200 budget, keep 10, salary +10% year over year. H2H 5x5. basically all of these $3 guys were acquired by dealing my high dollar rental bats and arms after I was eliminated from the playoffs. Just landed Stanton from a team still in the mix and I think I'm done improving now.

salaries below are for 2015. minimum salary for any kept player is $3.

1 - Goldy - $29
2 - Dozier - $4
3 - Frazier - $3
S - Baez - $13 *
O1 - Stanton - $35
O2 - Brantley - $3
O3 - Gardner - $3
O4 - Soler - $3

P1 - Ross - $3
P2 - Wood - $3 *

Team salary is $99/200, kind of higher than I wanted but more than 1/2 of that is for Au Shizz and Stanton, but figure they're worth it. They would probably auction for between $45-55 next season based on $60 Trout & $58 Miggy this year.

There are 2 that I'm not 100 % on *. Baez at 13 and Wood at 3.

Have these guys on the bench.
Rios $3
Rusney $18
Myers $3
Avisail $3

I kind of think Baez is high at $13, but with such a weak SS pool, and the top SS being kept already, I'm not sure I'd do much better in the auction. he has hit 2 HRs in back to back games, maybe he's turning the corner. If Rusney is a 20/30 guy, he might be worth a keep at $18, but then I'd be at 115/200 and still have to draft an entire SP/RP squad.

Anyhow, would you make any subs to those keepers above? I basically built this team following your comments/advice over the last few weeks so I think it should be pretty stacked, what do you think?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
