Need 8 Keepers

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Need 8 Keepers

Postby havok » Thu Jan 26, 2012 2:52 pm

Plan on competing next year for the title as I rebuilt last season. 6x6 with OBP and SLG instead of AVG and K/BB added for pitchers.

I have 6 very solid options but need to fill-in the rest.

Justin Smoak in 19th round for '12
Starlin Castro in 24th for '12
Michael Bourn in 12th for '12+13
Brandon Beachy in 21st for '12+13
Clayton Kershaw in 3rd for '12+13
Shaun Marcum in 23rd for '12

Other Options
Bryce Harper in 20th for '12 +13 (just about definite)
Julio Teheran in 26th for '12+13
Josh Beckett in 7th for '12+13
Manny Banuelos in 26th for '12+13
David Freese in 20th for '12+13
Chris Iannetta in 9th for '12+13
Erick Aybar in 20th for '12+13
Joel Hanrahan in 16th for '12+13
Derek Holland in 20th for '12+13
Scott Baker in 20th for '12+13

I like Derek Holland this year, personally. I can see Bryce as well, but that's not a compete this year move in my opinion. Can you make off-season trades? You're going in pretty thin in the bat area and only one 30+ HR potential bat for 2012 among them and I'm not too high on Smoak overall.

Not trying to rain on your parade here, but you're going to need a huge draft in the hitting department. What bats are going to be available come draft day?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
