Championship Game!!!

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Championship Game!!!

Postby Fresh » Mon Sep 27, 2010 7:21 am

Thanks for the help this year, Grey. One last week. How do you like my lineup in my sig? Is Stubbs my best option for Util2? Should I start closers this last week, namely Lidge? How does clinching factor into closers? Or should I sit both Lidge and Marmol for some starters off of waivers and/or Wolf? I could start Stauffer in my RP spot. Here are some starters available:

Porcello
Matusz
Kennedy
Chacin
Slowey

Thanks a bunch!!! This championship game is just as much yours as it is mine, you're like my GM.

Start closers if you need saves. If not, start Stauffer. I'd start Beltran over Stubbs.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Thanks, Grey. Saves get 10 points, but aren't guaranteed. Where as starters at least get some points for innings and strikeouts, etc. Here is the scoring breakdown:

Head-to-Head Point Values

Batting Category

Single 1 point
Double 2 points
Triple 3 points
Home Run 4 points
RBI 1 point
Run 1 point
Base on Balls 1 point
Stolen Base 2 points

Pitching Category

Win 10 points
Save 10 points
Complete Game 5 points
Strikeout 1 point
Base on Balls -0.5 points
Inning Pitched 2 points
Hits Allowed -0.5 points
Earned Runs -1 point

I updated my roster to all starters and Beltran at Util2. What do you think?
