Re: Vlad the Impaler
He is a conundrum. I haven't been actively shopping him but was thinking i could get a pretty good (younger) stick for him. (If i could turn him and some schmohawk into Braun i'd dance in the street). Not sure if his value will ever be higher than it is now, but of course if i unload him and he keep...

Re: Vlad the Impaler
His health is my main concern. He's one start in right from having RF eligibility and i do love that lineup. 30+ homers in within reach if, as you say, he stays healthy. He's not getting any younger and i'm thinking the heat could cool him off this summer (ironic, huh?). I know he's been performing ...

Re: Peavy or Buchholz?
I actually dropped Peavy for Buchholz about a month ago and exactly what Grey described in the blog happened. He was immediately picked up and that guy's pitching has been getting bombed since. Peavy may not be the sole reason but he hasn't helped as far as i can tell. You're right about the k rate ...

Vlad the Impaler
Is it time to start shopping Vlad? Or just sit tight? He's starting to hit on the road so i'm starting to buy in.
Is he gonna do this all season or is it time to sell high?

Re: vlad/votto for pujols
Votto is a top 20 player easily. And while Vlad may not keep up this top 10 pace, I say he finishes at least as a top 50 player. You have to love him batting fourth in that loaded Texas lineup.[/quote]

Re: vlad/votto for pujols
Pujols is possibly the best right handed hitter ever. This would be a bad trade (for the guy receiving Pujols) in fantasy baseball this year.

Re: vlad/votto for pujols
Don't do it. Votto's best days are ahead of him and he's good now.

Re: 5 Under 25
Kemp and Heyward are both solid choices. Man, it seems like Hanley is younger than that. Guess it's because he is still prone to bouts of immaturity that i view him as being younger than he is. I'm not as high on F-Her as maybe i should be, but my keeper league does place emphasis on pitching becaus...

Re: 5 Under 25
I wouldn't mind having Lincecum, Snider, Tulo, Longoria, and Billingsley (assuming his last few starts haven't been a mirage, which i am doing because i own him in a keeper) That's sort of off the top of my head but i'll also give honorable mention to a few guys like the Upton bros, Hanley, Bruce, K...
