Re: Is it ever worth trading away Ryan Braun?
I'm a believer in Morse, but when Hanley and Lawrie are back, yeah, my lineup will be pretty full. The only reason this is even a little tempting is because I expect Morse to hit 25+ HRs and hit at least .280, but Braun's consistency/reliability is pretty tough to beat. I've considered seeing what s...

Is it ever worth trading away Ryan Braun?
I like Ryan Braun. I REALLY like having Braun and Trout on the same team in a keeper league. Another manager really wants Braun from me. I don't really want to trade him, but I've been made an offer that makes me think that maybe I could get good value... I was offered Andrew McCutchen, Michael Mors...

Re: Ackley vs. Gyorko
Yeah, the only reason I'd do it is Ackley has already been in the majors for two years and has a speed component too, but I'm a believer in Gyorko's power, Petco or not. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't giving up on a decent opportunity to trade up.

Re: Trade Profar?
Agreed with second post... I'd offer Phillips/Profar... I don't think you need to include another player in a 12 player keeper league because Profar gives a ton of future value and Phillips is still solid at 2B currently. If your weakness is 3b though, you could always see what sort of 3B you could ...

Ackley vs. Gyorko
Hey, Grey! I've been offered Dustin Ackley for my Jedd Gyorko in a keeper league. We only keep four so keeping either past this year is very unlikely. You have both of these players similarly ranked... Would I be better off with the lower upside but more rounded Ackley or the potential breakout play...

Re: Keeper Help: Han-Ram vs. Starlin Castro
Yeah, that's the main argument for Castro; he should be trending up for years to come while Hanley has obviously been going in the other direction. My only fear is what happens if Hanley suddenly remembers how to hit and goes 25/25 with a .300 average? If I keep him that definitely won't happen, but...

Re: Which 6 keepers?
Miggy Heyward Rizzo Peavy I think I would stick with this. I am going to assume that all or most teams keep a guy in the 1st round which. So if you don't take a guy in the 2nd round, you will have a top 4 or so pick. I think I would gamble that there is either something better or as a fall back tak...

Keeper Help: Han-Ram vs. Starlin Castro
Hola, Grey and company! I've been debating this question since the end of the season last year and I'm still stuck without an answer with ten days left before the keeper deadline. I know you've got Hanley ranked just ahead of Castro in SS rankings and in the overall rankings but they're right next t...

Re: Axford vs. Hanrahan
Moving from the NL Central (Astros, LOL) to the AL East is probably going to be rough on Hanrahan... Axford had two straight seasons with an ERA under 2.50 before getting lit up last year and despite losing his job temporarily, giving up lots of runs, etc. he still had a 12.1 K/9 ratio. I definitely...

Re: Nelson Cruz
Cruz's lawyers' initial responses were VERY weak and ambiguous. They took a slightly stronger stance the next day, presumably after coming up with a game plan.
If they had to come up with a game plan, he's probably guilty... I'd be worried.
