Re: Post-draft thoughts?
I am gonna guess/bet there are guys with higher upside on the next page of that. Namely Matt Latos (Who won't pitch until April 20th, FYI), Homer Bailey (Not a fan, but I'm also not a fan of that first page), & Anibal Sanchez (K's are there but the boy is wild, I tell you). You might want to dive an...

Brandon Morrow
Will this kid stay healthy for longer than a month and will he produce as a starter in Toronto if he does?

Re: Pitching Depth
Though your staff is iffy, it only takes a couple diamonds in the rough to shake it into a reliable pitching staff. Joe Saunders & Jon Garland are what they are and you will be able to find them or others like them throughout the season. What you won't find are the Cliff Lee's and Rick Nolasco's bec...

Re: Fausto Carmona
I'd love to believe all spring training stories that I hear, but don't buy it if you can't afford it. If he's on your bench for the test ride, I think you can afford it just fine. I'd try and sell him if he comes out of the gate roaring, but that's cuz I'm the guy that sold Emilio Bonifacio before t...

Re: crawford for kemp
I wish you luck on that as I'd take both over Crawford any day (speed is too easy to find, in my opinion).

Re: Alright
Thanks for the feedback. Let me just say I share your fears. Edwin was a panic pickup at 3B as it was so thin this year (but only cuz I'm a dummy and forgot Troy Glaus and Jose Bautista were still available). I like to view my hitting squad as the all-reclamation project; that being said, it's prett...

Re: I was just offered this.. dont know what to do..
You're already loaded on speed and a tad thin on pitching. Think of this more as a trade of Cain for Crawford and Morgan for Maine. Since you don't seem to need the steals, I'd say this would work well for you.

Re: Pitching Depth
I'll give you my personal top 5 and a few Mr. Yuk stickers on a couple of the choices. PS, since you're already scouring, I'd go for the high upside over tried and true innings eaters like Garland. The season's early, take some chances. Top 5: Colby Lewis Ian Kennedy Chris Volstad Luke Hochevar Rick...
