Re: Rutledge sent down, replace with Gyorko?

This wins for the most depressing forum post of the three years or so I've been reading Razzball. OH if I had reached for Segura instead of the dreamy Josh, what might have been. The super shitty thing is I have him at SS so I can't even go Gyoko for him. I'm looking at Peralta, Hardy, or effing Yun...

Re: Obtained Hamels...How did I Do?

"The marlins on monday may just be what the doctor ordered." PLEASE let's make this happen. I usually tune in for every game, but his wildness has been uncomfortable to watch. Not just first pitch balls, but going to three-ball counts on 8-hitters and pitchers...I'm praying he's just waiting for war...

Re: Robbie Cano for Josh Rutledge & Javier Baez

You can make yourself mental trying to manage your team for this year and next. Looks like a good move to help you win now. You need the power.

Re: My Scherzer their Reyes & Dickey

Agree with above. There's no reason to trade for an injured star in an 8-team league. Everybody fields an all-star team in shallow leagues, so injuries are usually what separate the top from the bottom. Plus if Max (two-starter this week) puts up another good effort you could prob get more for him i...

Re: Giving up too much for Harper here?

I could be mistaken, but I think Rudy would redraft Harper top 5 now. REcently I watched Marte play for the first time against the Mets, he ran out an infield single to short where he had NO BUSINESS being safe. His speed is real and spectacular.

Re: Thoughts on this trade?

This is a tough one. It depends on whether you want to look at pre-season values (it is only May) vs. actual performances. If you value the pre-season rankings, the Stanton side wins. And if you think Hamels is hurt + Cingrani will be sent down +Goldie cools off < Greinke, Cespedes, Stanton stay hea...

Re: votto offer

Man, I'd want better pitching for Votto than Shields. Why the panic? Bum, Moore, Minor, and Zimm should be serving you well, no?

Is anyone targeting Kemp?

Or better yet, gotten him in a trade? What's been a going rate? Hamels+what kind of hitter = Kemp? (12 team, non-keeper, roster in H2H sig).

Thanks
