Re: If Trevor Bauer gets called up...

Barring injury it doesn't look like AZ is in any rush to bring him up. Also it looks like at least from a command standpoint Skaggs may be ahead of him. What's in B's favor is that he's on the 40 man roster but Skaggs aint. In any case, I am skeptical Bauer is gonna be a indisputable success right a...

Re: I want to bitch about Eric Hosmer

He's definitely pressing. I've been yelling at my pc for KC to give him a day off or move him down in the lineup to take the pressure off. Finally they sat him today. He's too talented to be this bad. Even King Pujols has played like a poo hole this year... there's still plenty of season left. .275 ...

Re: Allen Craig

Another big night at the plate. Such irony, he'd be the best hitter already in several NL lineups, but he happens to be in the deepest lineup in the league.

Hopefully he still gets enough playing time for 400 ABs.

Allen Craig

Really never heard much about this guy when he was coming up, but he can really rake. Probably the best "backup" hitter in MLB today. Was he cuz he didn't have a defensive position when he was in the minors?

Re: Sale to close...

He definitely has the stuff to be a starter, but too bad his arm probably won't hold up.

Here's to 300 career saves. I hope...

AJ Ellis, poor man's Carlos Ruiz?

This guy's actually pretty good. For OBP leagues he is a sneaky find.

Probably won't help much in the counting categories but is a plus in BA and OBP compared to other catchers... sort of the like anti-Saltalamacchia, anti-Arencibia.

Re: punted marmol

Stuff no longer unhittable + no clue where the ball goes = disaster.

I have K Wood stashed on the DL, so I may get some of the Cubs SVs yet.

punted marmol

Just dropped marmol for dolis. I can’t take it anymore. What a piece of shit. Horrible pick by me. I still have two more closers and I can make up the pts in the HLDs category.

Maybe this will burn me. But I doubt it. Even if Marmol turns serviceable, since my league counts holds, I’ll be fine.

Re: Heath Bell

He just can't seem to blow his fastball by hitters anymore... and it could be location. I saw Justin Turner's AB against him... He was throwing low in the zone mostly, which allowed Turner to keep fouling the pitches off.

I thought he throws high cheese normally?
