Headley
It's kinda interesting that after the deadline past, he's turned it up a notch... you would think that he'd be more motivated to play well before the deadline to get traded. Anyway, his OPS outside of Petco is 900+. If he gets traded to a team with a more hitter friendly park, is he justifiable as a...

Re: Traded away Hosmer and Bruce
There’s only a limited number of keepers I can have (6 max), and I probably wasn’t gonna keep either, so I decided to make a move for this year.
I am more worried about getting burned this year.

Traded away Hosmer and Bruce
I had already given up when my team fell 30 pts behind, but the top teams have all crashed and now I am within 10 pts of the top and 3.5 pts of 2nd place in my 16 team keeper league. Got Stanton back and lost saves in Casilla and I have a blackhole at 1b, so I traded Bruce and Hosmer for Wilhelmson ...

Asdrubal Smurf
Just traded Dee Gordon and Salty for Asdrubal Cabrera and Geovany Soto. Good?
Seems to improve my team for this year and gains me a keeper for next year.
Now I will have a Geovany and a Giancarlo plus an Asdrubal Smurf except I don’t wanna know what his specialty is…

Re: Trevor Bauer First Career Strikeout!
I drafted Bauer as a flier in my 16 team keeper league, but after carrying him for about a month and doing some research on him, I decided to clear the roster spot because I feel outings like tonight will be more frequent than 7 inning 10K 3 H ones. He's gonna be hard to hit and strike out guys but ...

Re: Itching to pick up Bauer
I carried him for about 6 wks (drafted him in 16 team keeper lg) and punted to free up a roster spot and he isn't a good fit for my team's specific needs. After reading up on him it just feels like he is probably not gonna be lights out right away. He does get to face SD LAD and SF a bunch, which he...

Grey need your wisdom
Jennings is coming back just as Hosmer is showing life. I need to sit one guy tomorrow. Craig vs. Harrell (He's a must start, so the question is where, he can play at all 3 OF spots plus 1b/2b) Hosmer vs. Liriano. Jennings or Upton vs. Pettitte or Cuddyer vs. Ian Kennedy. If Liriano was good or Cudd...

Re: Dolis no respect
As low as his, likely no one. But there has to be someone who had a higher but still low k rate. I don't have the means to research this. I don't think he's a great pitcher at all, but the level of dismissal of him is too much to the other end of the spectrum. For example, I saw one column writer ju...

Dolis no respect
Every commentary seems to be very quick to point to his ooglay BB:K ratio (8:5) and have a disclaimer that his grip on the closer role is likely temporary. It seems like a foregone conclusion that Marmol, Wood, and Russell would take over even though the first two are pitching horribly and Russell i...
