Old School AL Only Auction Dynasty League Needs New Owners

These leagues go back to the beginning of Fantasy Baseball - 1987 or so. Check out the info on the link. I've included the pitch page for your info. The league I'm interested in is the Bell AL league in which I participate, but if any of the other teams tickle your fancy, please go for it. There are...

Re: RCL Original Recipe Division Draft Results

Grey, I like to give myself obstacles to overcome. And I'm in three other leagues and I set up a personal rule this draft that I couldn't duplicate any player I had on any of my other teams. Hence, Guillen, Helton, Kendrick, Bronson Arroyo, etc. However, I did waive the rule for Broxton. :twis...

Re: RCL Original Recipe Division Draft Results

Bob's Schmohawks - Drafting out of the now dreaded #5 slot (damn you, A Rod), I followed my usual plan and didn't draft any pitchers with my first eight or so picks, then start filling SP and RP with good value, mixing in remaining starting line-up slots. I like to get 4-5 closers of varying degree ...

Re: Razzball Commenters League, Vol. ?.4

Pork, great win!! JOB Squad and KC, you both did yourselves proud. Congratulations to all the teams who finished in the money. Little noticed was my coming from behind to fault into fifth, and then lose out on the last day and end up sixth. However, it was still fun. Hopefully we'll play a full seas...

Re: Hard-Core RCL Smack

The Schmohawks pulled Marcus Thames off the waiver wire and he rewarded The Schmoes with two opening day dingers. Woohoo!! We're gonna ride this POS into the ground.

Re: RCL - Post Draft

Anyway, I'm looking forward to being in an active league and again, good luck to everybody. I think if nothing else, this above point is really the thing you all should appreciate. Even if you don't win, at least you won't have people quitting right after the draft. Gee... thanks Sgt. Slaughter. Wh...

Re: RCL - Post Draft

As I briefly mentioned during the draft, yesterday, I had to make an unexpected trip to the Stanford Emergency Room to take my mother-in-law for a broken arm. You should have given her half a broomstick and some duct tape. Just kidding. I'm glad everything worked out for you in the end. I wouldn't ...

Re: RCL - Post Draft

Some general thoughts on each team. The Schmohawks - Bob -- You need power, hate that you took Soriano there. Yes, taking a player who just hit the DL with my second round pick sucked. As I briefly mentioned during the draft, yesterday, I had to make an unexpected trip to the Stanford Emergency Roo...
