Re: How legit is Brian Dozier?

So what.. a younger Uggla? Yuggla? who will probably disappear for a month somewhere a leave there owners with a black hole at 2b while they wait for the power (or anything) to come back while his avg hovers around .200. Always chasing that Home Run fairy at middle infield. Just checking out some st...

Re: Liriano

Liriano has a career 5+ ERA for MAR/APR, and a 4+ ERA for MAY, that drops to the low 3's for Jun and July. A little bit of patience is in order considering he can rate as a High #2, to #1 pitcher when he is on.

Keeper Draft Strategy Question

So i'll see if I can pick on the collective wisdom of the forum here and ask a question that is on my mind heading towards my upcoming draft. If I have 9 keepers, and a "gap" in talent on my roster, should I not keep 9 players and pick a spot or two early in the hopes of picking up that missing tale...

Re: Draft strategy 3of leagues vs 5of leagues

i'm curious why the pitchers would get a bump in this case, because they have a higher share of the impact on your total score? I would think draft strategy would dictate that those 3 OF have to be that much better as a result of fewer options to achieve production. I have a 3 OF league, with the ad...

Re: ESPN Rankings = Razzball Comparisons

and yet, every league i've ever been in (I don't play in the hyper competitive leagues some of you do), i will always have that guy that will draft a Dan Haren or a C.C. Sabathia cause he remembered that great month he gave him 4 years ago...

Re: ESPN Rankings = Razzball Comparisons

Going the other way with it;

ESPN/Razz

Ellsbury 7/30
Carlos Gomes 17/50
Posey 40/92
Hamels 44/126
Yadi Molina 50/170
Mauer 62/221
Aramis Ramirez 79/179
Lucroy 91/216
Prado 114/207
Daniel Murphy 121/287
V-Mart 138/280

And so it goes

As Grey so often says, don't overpay for catchers.

Gausman Start Tonight

Gausman vs Washington today.

Going against Nathan Karns (who?)

Not a great start last time against a dangerous Tor lineup, but Washington has the second worst Team OPS right now.

Thoughts on start v sit?

Re: Frazier dropped, cut Donaldson?

What makes you think there is going to be that much more value out of Frazier than Markakis going forward? Frazier was only really slotted to be a 20hr, 80rbi, .240 guy, your getting 15HR 80R and a good average out of Markakis. Unless you are desperate for power i don't think it's so clear cut.

Re: Liriano for Real?

Is it really a question of competition with him? He's always had lights out stuff when healthy. Its just a question of how long can you hold on to him before his arm falls off again.

Re: Sale trade offer

Have both Jennings and Miller, someone would have to do better than Morrow, and i'm nervous about Sale's injury risk.
