Last Keeper?
Typical Roto league, $260 budget. Keeping: Puig - $12 Arenado - $9 Cueto - $13 We get one more keeper. I'm choosing between: Lucroy - $14 (slightly overpriced but in the ballpark. Keeping a catcher, though... bleh) Melky Cabrera - $5 (also slightly overpriced but he's a solid player. Could probably ...

Re: Trade to Jump Start My Struggling Club?
I wouldn't do that particular deal. If you could get a halfway decent OF back instead of Santana, I'd consider it.
Honestly? I think your team is fine. Just having some bad luck. May will probably be a better month. Don't make that trade unless it works better for you.

Beckett vs Marlins?
Now I know we all hate Josh Beckett but he has been pitching fairly well (9.0 K/9, .909 WHIP) but I'm nervous that this means the Marlins will hang 9 ER on him today. They've done that a couple of times recently. Pitch Beckett and a tired Dodgers team against the hot-hitting Marlins in a points leag...

Who to target?
Rizzo and Revere for: A) Mike Minor B) Hisashi Iwakuma C) Alex Gordon D) Michael Cuddyer E) None of the above Edit: This is not to upgrade a spot on my team. I just want the best player available to bolster my team for future trades and I'm not confident that Rizzo will build his value as high as so...

Re: grade the trade
C, maybe better depending on team composition. Generally prefer the players you traded away.

Re: Is Cole Hamels worth burning my #2 waiver claim?
I'd drop Broxton then. Saves are overrated and there's no doubt that he'll be losing his job. There's always another closer who will lose their job so you can speculate on saves or trade another player for a low-end one. Broxton for Hamels is a no-brainer.

Re: Is Cole Hamels worth burning my #2 waiver claim?
One catcher league or two? If one you could lose Mesoraco. Saves or NSVH? If saves you can lose Broxton as his time is running out. You don't need that many SS or 2B unless you have MI spots so you could lose one of them. I don't have Hamels anywhere so I want him to do poorly. That said, I'd burn a...

Re: Frieri on the edge?
I think Salas makes the most sense but then I've never understood Scoscia.
