Right now I have Kelly Johnson at 2B and MMD at 3B and an abundance of OFs and pitching; am thinking of going after Longoria.
Which makes most sense:
1) Felix H + MMD for Longo
2) Felix and F. Liriano for Longo
2) Nolasco and Dunn for Longo
3) Stand pat with KJ/MMD

Re: My first draft-how'd I do?
I'd love to know how you landed Utley, Longoria and Kemp, all three of whom profile as top 10 picks. Even in a ten-team league, it's hard to envision how you'd land all three. Well done.

Re: Behold the Baron's Terrible Team and Tremble! (and evaluate)
I hear you. I like the potential combos of Dunn/Lind/Sizemore = 100 HRs, and Sizemore/Borbon/Hanley = 100 steals, but then, everything has to go right (as opposed to my OF last year of Dye, Bruce and VWells, in which everything went very, very wrong). I'd really hoped either AGonzo or JUpton had fal...

Behold the Baron's Terrible Team and Tremble! (and evaluate)
League: Shallow 12-team mixed, non-keeper, 6x6 (OBP and QS both added this year) The Situation: I was assigned Pick #2. Clearly, cause for celebration, yes? Except I never really worked out a draft strategy in which I draft an SS in the first round, b/c I had a 1 in 12 chance of that. In fact, I'd p...

Gallardo for Bats
I'm fishing for a power-hitting OF... surprisingly hard to pry loose in my league. I mean someone who might hit 15-20 HR second half.
What combination of Kemp/Quentin/Franklin/Brian Wilson is worth Gallardo?
p.s. I offered C-Bills, he wants Gallardo. Tomato, tamahto, I say. Yes?

Speed! Power!
The guy in my league who has Manny (and is in 1st) has lots of steals and now needs OF power. I have Dye, Holliday, Bruce in the OF, plus Juan Pierre as a back-up. Is it worth making a play for Ellsbury? He'd fit in nicely on my team (I'm middling on steals) but maybe Pierre is enough Ellsbury Lite ...

Holliday
I offered Vernon Wells and Kevin Gregg for Holliday, and he'll do it.
I have to do that trade, right?

Targeting Hanley
The guy in my league with Hanley needs pitching badly. I need speed and like talent. I have a top SP trio of Peavy, C-Bills and Gallardo. I'm thinking of putting together some sort of package like: Prince Fielder, C-Bills and Alexei Ramirez (my current SS) for Hanley and Nate McLouth. or possibly Pe...
