ROS Tight End Depth

Postby EthanRoto » Fri Nov 08, 2019 9:36 am

I'm in a 12 team, PPR league with deep benches. We start QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, TE, K, DEF, Flex, and OP.

I have Austin Hooper and Jason Witten rostered. Was thinking about picking up either Dallas Goedert (seemed to be passing Ertz until last week, maybe still has good value with DeSean going on IR) or David Njoku (eligible to return soon from IR). I can make room on the roster for one, or drop Witten and grab both. Thoughts?

Most teams typically start a second QB in the OP spot, so this would be a hedge against Hooper getting hurt or possibly a Flex play (but have Saquon, Dalvin Cook, and David Johnson, so assuming DJ is healthy, not likely to start a second TE).

Thanks for your help!

I think that Witten is better than Goedert or Njoku ROS. But, if you do want to pick up one of them, I'd rather have Goedert than Njoku.
