I've been stuck with Verlander the past few seasons in my dynasty league and can't bring myself to drop him. Must be the titles he helped me win in the past.
I actually got a trade offer on him today. Straight up Collin McHugh for Verlander.
Obviously looking at the rankings it seems like a good deal for me. But given McHugh's short history of success either of these guys could be drop candidates by May.
Who would you rather put money on to produce a useful season?

Re: Verlander: trade away or hope for miracle?
I'd probably take McHugh.
Verlander's velocity has fallen 5 years in a row. His K/BB & batting avg against has declined for the last 3 years too. He probably won't be as bad as he was last year, but it's probably time to jump ship. McHugh is a good get for what Verlander is right now.
