Week 1

Postby smulkerrins » Mon Sep 06, 2010 6:39 pm

I'm trying to decide on who to start at two positions in week 1: my 2nd RB spot and my Flex spot - which can be ANY position.

It is a 1 PPR league, 6 pts per rush/catch TD, 1 pt per 10 yards rush/receiving, 4 pts per pass TD, 1 pt per 25 yards passing. -0.5 per INT/Fble.

Here are my options for the 2 spots -

Moreno @ JAC
Bradshaw vs. CAR
V. Young vs. OAK
Garrard vs. DEN
Jacoby Jones vs. IND

Thanks

RB:
Bradshaw, no doubt about it. CAR can't stop the run.

Flex:
Moreno - Wait and check on his injury status - if he plays, start him.
Jones - High risk/reward - I don't know if I would have the guts to start him in week 1.
Young - I think TEN will run a LOT vs. Oakland - bench him
Garrard - Best option outside of Moreno, I think, and should get you at least 10 points.

Pretty straightforward to me. Barring a setback during the week, go with Moreno/Bradshaw.
