ROTO DRAFT 5 X 5 FIRST 10 PICKS OFFENSE

Postby Headbustaz » Sun Feb 01, 2009 12:25 pm

Decided to draft hitters the first 10 positions to see what would happen. I think I ended up with a pretty good staff. I punted on closers a bit which was my intention and was going to wait a little longer on catcher but Ianetta was there in the 20th so I grabbed him. Any opinions welcome. I like how it turned out. It may influence my draft strategy when playing for real becuase pitching depth and value is there late in the draft. Also, did not intend to take Ramirez first but it turned out OK in the end. Any recommendations of what I could have done differently? Post your opinions.

I like your outfield a lot, but after that... it's pretty hit or miss. I think you did okay considering you took Aramis in the 1st (huh?) and didn't draft a pitcher until into the 10th. I don't necessarily like the pitchers you did grab first. Big Z's been going the wrong way for about 2 years now and Dempster wasn't the pitcher he showed in 2008. I don't like Pedroia in the 2nd and I'm not a huge fan of Morneau. Peralta and Johnson were good value though.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
