Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Getting Creative This Week

Postby harrisonobeid » Sun May 15, 2011 10:23 pm

This is a 12-team, H2H, roto league. My team has struggled in the past few weeks. The hitting has just not been there all season long. Sure I'll get a good amount of RBIs, Rs, and SBs, but my league also scores AVG, SLG, and BBs/KOs. All three of those categories have been shaky at best. Pitching has always been solid, though.

This week I have my toughest match-up yet. I go against the hottest team in the league. A team that has a breakdown record of 58 - 3. Yeah, this team has been playing pretty f'ing well.

My ideas for my lineup this week are this: bench David Wright, move Youkilis to third and put Moreland in at first. I mean Wright hit the homer on Saturday, but then successfully managed to go hitless two games in a row. If the guy's not stealing bases, which he hasn't recently, then he's completely useless to me.

The only other thing I would like to try to do is get Adam Jones into my lineup. I don't really know who to bench for him though. As you can see, it's not exactly an easy call determining who sits in my outfield. Right now, I'm not even really sure if I should bench someone in place of him. What do you studs think?

You have no one to bench for Jones.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
