Krispie for Hamels

Postby emptygift » Tue May 10, 2011 10:39 am

My pitching peripherals are garbage. Last in ERA, WHIP and K/BB.

I was able to trade (take a chance) for Ogando at a cheap price.

The team that has Hamels is in dire need of OF and a bat. I don't know why but Krispie and his awful OBP really bothers me. He produces and I might be able to get Hamels from him. His staff will still have Cain, C. Lewis, Wandy, Price, Dicky and Floyd so he wouldn't be short handed.

Usually bats for pitching is a no no for me but I'm in trouble with my pitching. If my pitching was around 6 or 7 pts instead of 1 (10 max) in those cat's I'd be in first...

Thoughts??

I'd do that trade with your current pitching staff. If Gallardo comes around, you're going to have a monster pitching line.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.

I think this is a no-brainer in any league. Hamels, to me, is a guy that could contend for a Cy Young this year, and years to come. Krispie is a guy who will slug and steal bases, but will kills you everywhere else. He's a little overrated.

Do it.

I'm not as big on Hamels as others seem to be, but I would still make that trade.
