Penny for your WW thoughts

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Penny for your WW thoughts

Postby wynams » Mon May 24, 2010 11:21 am

This team is a bit of a mess. I have a ton of 4th/5th outfielders and meh pitching, but thanks to over-performing Wiggy/Capps/Gardener, we are 5 up, 2 down.

Have Penny, but my DL es muy ocupado con senors Beltran y Br.'ittlecakes' Roberts ...
a) do nothing and sit tight for more news
b) DL Penny and cut Beltran or Roberts
c) cut Penny (and/or anyone else you find a candidate), add some waiver goon(s)

Preparation WW, prepare to be yawnstipated
arms:
Wolf
Correia
Contreras
Ely
Meek
Pelfrey (aka my 30th man)
Harden
Pavano
Cecil
Myers
Corpas
Vargas
Gorzelanny
Gio
Lidge
Hoffman
Villanueva
bats:
Carlos Guillen (for the 2B thang)
Stanton
Cody Ross
Napoli
Ike Davis
Ian Desmond
Snider
Pagan

Blown saves with this points system are quite brutal. One bad outing can wipe away about a quality starts worth of pitching. That said, the last 3 arms are probably on waivers for good reason.

I have 2 moves left this week, was thinking of dropping Penny for Wolf, Correia or Ely. Anyone else strike you as a must grab?

Gracias,
12 Team Mixed, H2H Points, Keeper - 2x[DL]
C- JMontero
1B- Votto
2B- Rutledge
3B- Frazier
SS- Lowrie
CI- Encarnacion
MI- Segura
OF- Choo
OF- JUpton
OF- Bourn
OF- Rasmus
OF- Moss
U- Kinsler

SPs: Darvish, Price, Lester, Bailey, Niese, Cahill, Lincecum, Teheran, Nova
RPs: Rodney, Parnell, Perkins, Mujica

I'd cut Penny and grab Ely.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
