Whats up with Parra coming in the 8th inning down 4 runs? Is this a sign of things to come with CC in Milwaukee? As a CC owner in one league I'm stoked on the move to the NL for an extra 2 or 3 Ks a game, but as a Parra owner in another league I don't want it to be at Manny's expense.

Yeah, I don't like to see him coming in to pitch an inning of relief. ...AND he loses his two starts this week?? Yahoo! says that he's not starting until Friday.

Maybe the razzboard can offer some supportive consensus.

Word on the street was McClung was going to be yanked, which would make sense. I hope Parra's not pulled from the rotation. The only thing I can think of is it was Parra's day to throw so they let him pitch an inning.

Parra pitches 1 inning, then they decide to put Torres in to pitch the 9th while down a run? Heh, so the Sabathia trade sends Parra to the bullpen and makes Backne the closer. If that's the case, the Brewers sure are "going for it", alright.

Suppan went to DL. Parra was just getting work.

Yeah, I figured it was something along those lines. I'm not that much of a reactionary :)
