Nelson Cruz is mashing in AAA with 32 HR/21 SB/80/82/.345. This is absolutely unreal and should be noticed.

There... I just noticed it and feel much better about it.

Nelson Cruz and Dallas McPherson are tied for the lead in professional baseball with 34 HR each. I don't know how long the Rangers can justify keeping Cruz down in AAA. It'd be interesting to see if McPherson is trade bait at this point for the Marlins.

My small head says that both of them are worthy adds if you have space on your bench, or if you're in a deeper league. I'd love to see what Cruz could do this year in Arlington.

I just read that Cruz is out of options, so either Byrd or Boggs goes down with an injury, or he'll be traded. The Rangers don't want to risk bringing him up and then get in the uncomfortable position of DFAing him.
