You're going to need another shortstop to plug and play for the missile till late May. He is terrible in April. Just terrible. I would also try to find some more homers.

i agree with the homers.. ive been trying but no one wants to get trading.. everyone is shy with trading in my league, esp in the begining

I am thinking of grabbing Ian Desmond and dropping Stubbs to help me out at SS

Crazy this is a non-keeper, that's a pretty stacked team for a 14 team league. I agree with CWS, Alexei's not great, but for 14 teams I'd take my chance that he could be enough. I'm worried you might have too much speed and not enough power. You might find yourself wanting to trade Crawford at some point. Davis seems completely unnecessary with Crawford and Figgins. The front of your staff looks fine, obviously. The back of your staff might be a complete mess.

thanks man.

as i was drafting i was realizing i had too much speed. but i got Upton in the 9th round, i couldn't pass on him at that spot

I had Alexei last year, so i feel like i know what to expect and what im dealing with..

i completely agree that the back end of my rotation is a complete mess

thanks again for the advice

I like your squad -- having just drafted a 14 team / non-keeper squad myself I was curious to see what your team looked like...

I drafted out of the 14th hole last week and we have very different looking teams. YOu excel where I lack and vice versa.

I like your runs, sb and average upside. I think you lack pop /rbi potential, but I dont know the scoring format and categories of your league, so not sure that matters. I like Sabathia, but think you could've paired that with someone a little stronger than CBill, but Im nit picking. The front part of your rotation is more or less solid, but I think you could do some work on the back end, but this is coming from a guy whose #5-#8 pitchers are: Masterson, Maine, Hammel and Paulino.

Maybe try and package some of your speed and a pitcher for a better #2 or #3 starter (ie. Rajai Davis and James Shields for someone like Wandy or something like that). I tend to like my pitchers in the NL and avoid the AL East... just a thought.

Check out my squad and let me know your thoughts...

Thanks,
