Deron Williams and Marc Gasol for Harris and Howard

Postby N00b » Tue Dec 07, 2010 8:53 am

Here is my team:

Devin Harris, NJ PG
Manu Ginobili, SA SG
Caron Butler, Dal SF, SG
Al Horford, Atl C, PF
Dwight Howard, Orl C
Jordan Farmar, NJ PG
Brook Lopez, NJ C
Rodrigue Beaubois*, Dal PG, SG
Ersan Ilyasova, Mil SF, PF
Mehmet Okur*, Uta C
Ed Davis, Tor PF

The trade offered is in the title. We play 9 categories, 8 classics ans instead of TOs, we have offensive rebounds. I know that Howard is valuable in this format because of the two rebounds categories but Marc Gasol has the same stats so far in offensive rebounds (not as good in rebounds though) ans can only improve since he is underperforming (like Bropez I hope) and I have Okur that should come back and Davis that coulb be interesting later on the season. On the other hand, I have a problem at PG with the lone Harris and I have started to lose assists. My two other weaknesses are FT% (Howard powaaaa ) and 3 points so by getting rid of Howard and adding Deron Williams, I can solve my dipping assists, my FT% and help my threes.
I feel that I should do it but I'd like to have an expert eye on it.

Looks good for you.

Williams is a huge upgrade from Harris, while Howard is someone you can afford to let go and in many ways might actually improve your team by letting him go. Gasol is shooting his free throws relatively well. Well enough to make up for the deficit in rebounds he has over Howard.
