Is it time to start shopping Vlad? Or just sit tight? He's starting to hit on the road so i'm starting to buy in.

Is he gonna do this all season or is it time to sell high?

If he can stay healthy, I don't see any reason why he can't have an amazing full season. He has Andrus, Young, and Kinsler in front of him, and Hamilton and Cruz behind him... That's a combination of RBI potential and backend protection that's pretty much off the charts. The Rangers' lineup this year beats out any of the Yankees' scary lineups from the past decade, IMO. Kinsler, Vlad, Hamilton, and Cruz can all jack 30+ HR's, and probably will...
Key phrase there, though, is IF he can stay healthy...

His health is my main concern. He's one start in right from having RF eligibility and i do love that lineup. 30+ homers in within reach if, as you say, he stays healthy. He's not getting any younger and i'm thinking the heat could cool him off this summer (ironic, huh?).

I know he's been performing at a top 10 pace so far but i doubt any of my competitors expect him to remain this hot. What kind of value does he have right now?

Vlad is a bit of a conundrum, isn't he?! I'd like to say sell high, but chances are your league-mates have the same reservations about him, especially his health.
Sure would be nice to swing him (and maybe some schmohawk) for a Kemp or Braun.
Have you pimped your league-mates for any interest?

Yeah, the trouble with trading him is that few managers are going to want to take this risk, so you probably won't get what he's worth. I'm sure you could trade him for a Carlos Gonzalez/Ryan Ludwick/Jason Bay type player pretty easily, but if he stays healthy he'll probably outperform all of them by a good margin.

It doesn't hurt to shop, but personally in the few leagues where I have him, I'm holding onto him unless I can get someone really good.

He is a conundrum. I haven't been actively shopping him but was thinking i could get a pretty good (younger) stick for him. (If i could turn him and some schmohawk into Braun i'd dance in the street).

Not sure if his value will ever be higher than it is now, but of course if i unload him and he keeps raking i'll never forgive myself. Maybe i'll just change my team name to On the Fence and enjoy the ride while it lasts.

I just traded my Neftali Feliz for Vlad heads up. I fully expect Vlad to hit the DL in 2-3 weeks lol

I'm riding out the Vlad wave. He's a year younger than Jeter and he's playing DH predominantly. I tend to think he'll stay relatively hot in that park with that lineup.
