5 Under 25
Indulge me if you will. You're starting a keeper league team and you can pick any five players as long as they are 25 or younger this year. Give me your list.

Re: 5 Under 25
I wouldn't mind having Lincecum, Snider, Tulo, Longoria, and Billingsley (assuming his last few starts haven't been a mirage, which i am doing because i own him in a keeper)
That's sort of off the top of my head but i'll also give honorable mention to a few guys like the Upton bros, Hanley, Bruce, Kershaw, and Sandoval (who i'm also assuming will turn it around for obvious reasons)

Hanley is too old. He turns 27 in December. I'm curious (outside of the freak) if most would take a pitcher like F Her ahead of a position player like Tulo or J Upton and why?

1- Evan Longoria
2- Tim Lincecum
3- Justin Upton
4- Jason Heyward
5- Troy Tulowitzki
Also deserving consideration: Andrew McCutchen, Felix Hernandez, Elvis Andrus

Longoria, J.Upton and Heyward are locks....
I go with Tulowitzki and Kemp as the others.
I choose hitting over pitching always....
this would be unreal. Your outfield is set and have two very tough spots in 3B and SS already filled.

Kemp and Heyward are both solid choices.
Man, it seems like Hanley is younger than that. Guess it's because he is still prone to bouts of immaturity that i view him as being younger than he is.
I'm not as high on F-Her as maybe i should be, but my keeper league does place emphasis on pitching because we use total k's and k/9. I would still rather have Tulo (and i do) over him. The fact he fills multiple categories as well as he does from the ss position makes him extremely valuable, imo.
As for Upton or any other outfielder, i'm not sure which way i'd go with a pitcher like F-Her. The outfield settings are position-specific so it would depend on how my roster looked overall. All things being equal, i'd probably go Upton.

Re: 5 Under 25
I'd go with Lincecum, Heyward, Longoria, Upton, and McCutchen for pure talent, but there's a great argument as to why taking 3 OF as keepers and no infielders is a bad idea.
