The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that there are "strong indications" that Livan Hernandez will be let to go open up a spot in Minnesota's rotation for Francisco Liriano.

Even though Ken Griffey Jr. had yet to report, Paul Konerko didn't start Thuesday against the Twins.
It certainly appears as though Konerko is set to lose a lot of playing time. He's at .214/.312/.349 with just 35 RBI in 295 at-bats. It's very likely that his struggles are related to the hand problems he's had since April, and there's no reason to think he'll bounce back anytime soon.

Nationals activated outfielder Elijah Dukes from the 15-day disabled list.
Dukes and the newly acquired Alberto Gonzalez take the roster spots of Paul Lo Duca and Felipe Lopez. The Nationals are expected to make another move on Friday to clear room for Emilio Bonifacio. Dukes will likely start in left field over Willie Harris most of the time. He's worth playing in NL-only leagues.

That's what I was hoping they'd do, a guy with that talent doesn't need to work out of the bullpen.

Welcome back FranKKKKKKKyyyy.

Emilio Bonifacio is the guy the Nats are calling up after DFA-ing Felipe Lopez, right?

If you're like me in a 2 catcher NL Only league, I wouldn't drop LoDuca yet. I'll bet you five Schilling's he goes to the Marlins before he clears waivers.
