I drafted him really early last year with high expectations only to have my heart ripped out of my chest.....but im with you, i'm seeing 25-30 bombs out of him this year

My feeling is that if Davis has only 25 HR in him, that he will only get to half that because he will spend the majority of the summer w/ the Oklahoma City Red Hawks.

I think he needs a minimum of a .875 OPS to get anywhere near 500 at bats.

My Chris Davis HR line(s) look like this:

250 AB: 12 HR
or
500 AB: 37 HR

I have CD too, but Grey's post today re: Garko has me a tad concerned. I was hoping for the 500+ AB side of things, but now...

I honestly think he will hit closer to .280 this year in around 500 AB. Yes he will sit some vs tough lefties. He was a totally different player after he came back from the minors from the guy who hit .200.

I wouldnt worry too much about Garko, if they wanted to pressure Davis they would have broken camp with smoak.

@cfrancis: grab Fowler ASAP. could be in for a monster season batting 2nd in that Colorado lineup!

I own Chris Davis in all my leagues this year. They might sit him vs. Lefties which is fine with me because I won't play him against them either. 30 HR's wouldn't be shocking. I am anxious to see what Smoak can do at some point.

Yeah, it's only one week, so this is me just getting this off my chest.
It's been painful watching the (non)stats from Davis this week! He's gonna come around...at some point...
