Position Help

12 team h2h points league (weekly). Scoring at bottom.

Starting lineup - 1 at each position, 3 OF and a DH. 5 SP and 2 RP. NO MI or CI

With how our league runs 80% of everyone's bench is SP. Meaning besides first base/OF there is normally only 12-13 of each position taken. I am a big value guy, so if I see a deal I am not going to pass it up..

If I do not take a SP in first 2 rounds, I am targeting Fielder/Votto and Tulo/Hanley

1. Which position do you feel most comfortable with in waiting towards the end of draft to pick up your starter? Guessing 3b?

2. I pick #9. If I do not take a SP with my first or second pick it will be it will be down to these guys available for my overall pick 33/40. ADP- 60,"Sanchez, 71,"Cobb, 66,"Bailey, 50,"Teheran. Waaay to big of a reach... Adam Jones, Harper, Bautista, Stanton, Pujols- at least 2 of those guys should be there.

If I wait until my overall pick 57/64 for my first couple SP, Teheran and Sanchez will probably be gone and my staff will be Aced by 2 of Bailey, Cobb, Gio, Minor if things fall right, chance I only get 1 of them.

Knowing all that, does this mean I should take a SP with either 9/16?

Even though this feels and looks like a SP league, only 1 SP scored 800 points (Kershaw), 3 over in the 700's (wainright, Max, Lee) , and 12 in the 600's. While batters had 1 in the 900's (goldy) 3 in the 800's (cab, trout, davis) and 8 in the 700's (Votto, Freeman, Prince, Edwin, Dread, Prince, Pacman, Cano).

If I do go with a sp at 9/16 do I pair it with Fielder/Votto or Tulo/Hanley? I am positive I will be able to get Freeman/Pujols with my overall #40 pick.

Thanks so very much if anyone read all this. All opinions are welcomed.
