Braun, A-Rod + TWENTY more looking at suspensions

MLB going after Braun, A-Rod, supposedly twenty other players for Biogen stuff. Apparently looking at 100 game suspensions!

AKA my team in sig is F'd.

If it happens, you know the MLBPA will come back with something and this will likely get figured out after the season or very late into the season. MLB isn't going to be able to drop something like this without a fight and those fights generally take some time to get through the hoops.

Would try trading for Braun at a discount?

I agree with @Mauddib, I cannot imagine that Braun's camp would not appeal/challenge delaying this process for months.

I actually think the opposite. The team is in the dumps. Why not get the suspension out of the way this year.

Because if you fight it, you might never get suspended or the suspension will be less than what MLB dictates. There is more at stake here then just a few games. We are talking lots of money, loss of respect and possible future in the HOF. This isn't a slap on the wrist so there is no reason for the players and the MLBPA to fight this. And this is all on the assumption that this happens. Wouldn't be the first time that something gets put out there that doesn't happen quite the way it was portrayed.
