Re: teix or d wright?
I don't think first pick matters that much. I'd rather have Tex and his fairly consistent production than Wright and his injuries and power outages. You can grab cheap steals in the OF much later in the draft.
Re: teix or d wright?
Wright COULD have more value, but I'd go big Tex. I have Wright on my keeper squad and could barely get anything for him when I tried. Wright needs a change of scenery, then I'd grab him.

Re: teix or d wright?
Wright is a tough sell at this point. Last season was such a mess that nobody really wants to touch him from a keeper standpoint. I'm holding for peak value, but I won't hesitate to trade him if he gets off to a hot start.
Re: teix or d wright?
If players are close, consult the surrounding bats ... Teix by a lot!

Re: teix or d wright?
Wright. The only thing that might make it a question is Wright's more extensive injury history, but the guy has put up 500 at-bats every year of his career except his rookie year and last year.
Assuming you get something close to Wright's 2010, you will wonder how you ever allowed yourself to even consider Tex:
2010 Wright: .283 BA, 29 HR, 103 RBI, 87 R, 19 SB
2011 Tex: .248 BA, 39 HR, 111 RBI, 90 R, 4 SB
You lose about 10 home runs and ~10 RBIs, but you gain .03 points in BA and 15 SBs. I'll take that.
Of course all this depends on who you took in the first round...
