Good weekly minimum innings in H2H leagues?

Postby AdmiralTrey » Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:01 am

What do y'all's H2H leagues usually have when it comes to a minimum number of innings per week? I don't want it to be lax, but I don't want to cause any sort of consistent major struggles for teams, either. I was thinking that 15 innings sounded good. What do y'all usually do?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Not that this applies to you, but with our league removing W's and L's and being more ratio-based, we've implemented a 40 IP minimum. That way a good week of Roy Halladay and Yovani Gallardo isn't washed away by Jim Johnson, Sean Marshall and Edward Mujica :)

I am in two that have 18 and 25. I think the key is to force at least a couple starts and add in 2-3 innings per rp

40?? Ouch!! That'd be pretty awesome, but probably a bit much... I'm pretty sure everyone in my league would hate me for the rest of my life.
And yeah, I can see around 20 working, too. I figure every team is going to have at least 4 starters, even RP-heavy teams, and even if those 4 starters go 5 innings each, that's 20 innings right there.
