A great first week had me thinking that this is a bounceback year for Beckham. Now I'm ready to dump him after he's gone about 2 for his last 50.

Someone talk me down from the ledge or tell me who I should pick up to replace him from this list:

I'm the biggest Sox fan you're ever likely to meet and I dropped him the other day for Freddy Sanchez. I doubt anyone's gonna snatch him up while he's playing like this so you might be able to get him back if he turns it around eventually. Just...let go...

Beckham is one more mediocre season away from being Billy Butler. The fantasy landscape is littered with the debris of decaying expectations.
I like sports with balls in them.
