In my opinion, this helps out Greinke's value. Most expert lists have him ranked a little high given his move to the NL. With this injury, I would assume a 3 round drop in value is correct, but the more the better.
People don't seem to realize that this guy broke his rib 2 weeks ago, and pitched a gem in his last spring training start with the injury. It is a hairline fracture, which would be a bigger deal if it occurred in a weight bearing limb, however these are the ribs. 4 - 6 weeks at the most and he'll be good to go. The Brewers say only 3 starts. That sounds about right.
Bad karma saying this, but these kind of injuries make me giddy.
