Re: pick a wideout for week 9
Knox.
Buffalo sucks against the pass, it just doesn't show because people run all over them. Chicago can't run the ball so they will throw all over them instead (Buffalo: 110.0 passer rating allowed this year). Knox has been pretty good since Cutler got back into the lineup, putting up 17 and 20 in the 2 weeks before the bye.
Holmes is giving 7 points a game in PPR. That's like half of what you need from a #2/#3 WR. Detroit is a better matchup, but is he going to double his production? Even if he does that only makes him adequate, not good. I have Holmes and I'm sitting him until he shows me something.
Bryant looks like he's turning the corner, but I'm still scared of some Kitna awfulness. If he has another good game in week 9 I will be all aboard. His matchup vs. Green Bay is the worst of the 3, I would still play him over Holmes though.
I have all three of these guys and the same decision to make. I'm going with Knox unless there's terrible weather in Buffalo.

Ditto to donut
Knox no doubt. Cutler will come out like a mad man and I like him to have 3 Tds if not more so Knox is a must start with Holmes a distant second.

I'll take Holmes.

Knox. He's putting up the yardage and finally got a touchdown before his bye. More should come.
I'll wait for Santonio to show me something before I put him in my lineup.

I would go with Johnny Knox and hope Cutler can stay upright.
