So, I don't think Owen Daniels is the one for me. The following are available, and I'd love to hear who people think are the top 3 for next week and the rest of the season (I realize those are two different questions). Also, I am correct that I can safely drop Daniels for these guys, right. Thanks!
(I am putting the # of points they earned in Week 1 according to my league's settings in parentheses followed by the week 2 opponent)
Marcedes Lewis (16) @ SD
J. Gresham (12) v BAL
Bo Scaife (11) v PIT
C. Cooley (11) v HOU
E. Moore (10) v KC
T. Scheffler (7) v PHI
J Shockey (4) @ SF

Daniels will kill those guys by the end of the year. He is still recovering from an injury and the Texans didn't pass at all on Sunday. Keep Daniels.

stash OD on the bench til week 4... what were people expecting from him? Kubs came out and said he would only be on the field for 15-20 snaps!

Ok, thanks a lot (both of you).
So if I stash OD and add one TE for next week, who do you recommend?

I'd go with Cooley, McNabb and him hooked up early and often

Cooley is ahead of all of those guys (including Daniels) by a good amrgin. McNabb LOVES to check down to TE's and it showed in Week 1. With Santana as his #1 threat for targets I'd be very confident in Cooley.
