Homer Yankee fan in keeper league, picking in the 12th round. Slowey, Baker, Hughes are my options. I wanted Baker but now I'm torn.

Slowey went ahead of me, I took hughes over Baker, now I know I need to be sharp. I have two of next 6 picks; thr first pick I have to decide between jonathan sanchez and jorge de la rosa, I need 200k guy: who is more likely to be better in era and whip? Pick #2: a). do I have to go closer? b) If not, I see fowler and everth cabrera, I like getting the speed at MI, but I like fowler better, is fowler better enough to disregard position here?

This is how I ended up. I see that I am going to have a long, hard, frustrating year working the pitching staff. I went to take Everth but at the time C. Perez was the only somewhat closer available, in a 13 team league (lol, I always thought it was 12 during my 7 years) some teams drafted 4 closers early.

LAA seem to be a good staff to follow for injuries, is there any other team I should be looking real hard for SP in the minors? I will sit tight using MR for the time being, and hope Brantley and / or E Young may be able to net me a closer at some point.

Not sure why LAA's a good team to monitor for SP injuries, but I'd just keep my eye out for SP injuries in general. Your pitching staff is weak at the bottom. Hochevar is projected to have near a 5 ERA. He's pretty terrible. Your hitting looks solid though, so that's good.

I see LAA having some opportunities for spot starts with Kazmir and Ervin Santana, not necessarily a major injury but enough to make their spot starter a good guy to have around early on, before actual injuries. Hochover will never see the active lineup, I'll put Middle Relievers in until I can figure out a decent trade or waiver wire option.
